And all the necro dots are pitifully low. No one wants non-burst builds so this needs a bit of a buff. Shadowblight takes FOREVER to build up and enemies that die to fast don’t proc it. We have too much build up damage with too little payoff. I think the primary issue is that skill damage is just tuned too low for necro. Even bone spear feels weaker than the other classes despite it being our best. I will say though that Necro feels considerably weaker than every other class as far as individual skill damage output goes. Honestly so far I have not once played bone. It’s awkward with groups, but that’s what Blight and Blighted Corpse Explosion is for. The idea is that you use the legendary affix to get 200% attack speed on your minions during Army paired with Decrepify lucky hits to reduce cooldowns by 1 second each time.Īrmy is 7 seconds of 200% IAS for minions, combine that with Iron Golem aoe stun and vulnerability (which has a 100% uptime thanks to decrep resetting cds) and you melt anything the minions actually manage to attack. I’m using it right now, and while it is a bit clunky at times, it has some real potential. I’m curious if you have tried the Lucky Strike Army/Decrep build. Somebody who has chucked one too many bones. Maybe at 100, with max paragon or something, but don’t make the players wait that long. There just are not enough modifiers to make the other options playable. Take some time, rebalance blood, shadow, minions, and hell, let us play a viable thorns build or something… but for now there is no fun in coming up with a ‘new’ build. Unless you enjoy spending hours to clear one dungeon, the numbers don’t add up for other options. Not be pushed into a corner with 2 lame, boring, bone spells and be told: This is it, this or nothing. Corpse tendrils and corpse explosion are needed in both, and at their highest, both use the same unique chest to generate more essence (which is a whole nother issue).īlizzard, I want to be able to play blood and progress, I want to test new minion builds out (and trust me I have) and find new and interesting ways to push the game to its limit. You just run around spamming CC until you shoot something that one shots, if it fails… you try again. Neither of these builds are really in the ‘spirit’ of the class. Yes, I know you could possibly slog through higher with lucky key rolls, and taking 25+ mins to clear each room, but that is just not fun, nor easy to do when you could swap to one of 2 builds: ![]() I have played minion up until my current best as far as keys sigils go (44) and I can safely say, this is as far as it goes. I know just about everything works until about level 20 or so in NM dungeons, then things fall off slowly! Before you type “My build works just fine, and I use xxxxx” this is about 50+ NM dungeons, and how our class can handle them.
